R34 Nissan Skyline Service The day Bill walked in to ask for a service break down for his R34 Nissan Skyline we had to take a double count. Bill is not your usual skyline owner, he would be a few years plus out of the common post teen age bracket of Skyline owners. 79 Series V8 Turbo Upgrade Power Curve Performance recently had a 79 Series V8 in for our Usual Power Curve Performance upgrade, Catch can, Secondary fuel filter, Clutch and ECU tune. While in the process of all of these goodies, it was discovered that the turbo had VNT issues and boost response was not right. The team diagnosed that the turbo VNT mechanism had seized and was not repairable. After a call to the customer and offered our advice he went for an upgraded unit. We chose a genuine new factory Garret unit and had this modified to suit our needs. The results really speak for themselves.
